Provide technical expertise in the installation, operations and maintenance of the fiber-optic telecommunications system and related equipment.
Install and maintain telecommunications and fiber related equipment as directed.
Interpret work plans, drawings and provisioning sheets to complete projects.
Perform splicing, testing and trouble-shooting of optical fiber as directed.
Perform testing and trouble-shooting of telecommunications equipment as directed.
Operate mechanical equipment including bucket trucks and trailers.
Proficiency with test equipment and tools of the trade.
Climb ladders and aerial structures as needed to perform construction and maintenance.
Perform Air Conditioner maintenance including troubleshooting AC and DC circuits, replacing air filters, configure thermostat lead/lag controllers, troubleshooting and replacement of compressors, coils, blowers and refrigerant system components.
Maintain physical appearance and good relationship with customers.
Respond to emergencies, outages and trouble-calls.
Three years electronics and cabling experience/training preferred. Fiber Optic certification will be required. Ability to distinguish colors require. High school diploma required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Residing with a 30 minute driving radius of the Cuba, Missouri facility is required.
