Central is seeking a motivated, team-player to fill the position of Project Assistant in the Member Services Department.
This position reports to the Member Programs Manager and supports the Member Services organization through coordination of project support and planning, report development, and some administrative tasks. Will be responsible for maintaining member data and summarizing meetings through written reports. Provide analytical support as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Attend Member Working Group, Economic Development, and Cooperative Program meetings and provide written reports.
Support efforts to develop and maintain internal processes related to Member Programs that include but are not limited to:
Member and Energy Service program reimbursements and program tracking
Update and maintain Member and Energy Services’ portion of the Central Portal
Collect and maintain member program and cooperative data, providing necessary documentation.
Develop positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders using effective oral and written communication skills.
Provide analytical support related to customer programs, utility rates, and utility billing.
Support various projects as required of the Member Services organization. Projects include but are not limited to:
Residential Appliance Saturation Survey
Economic impact research
RUS reporting requirements
EIA reporting requirements
Assist in preparation of Central Board, Committee, and Subcommittee reports and presentations.
Prepare routine reports on an on-going basis with a high attention to detail.
Provide administrative support as may be needed and performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned, in areas including but not limited to:
Member annual meeting
Support Member Services functions by;
Staying informed of Member issues
Communicating issues to Senior Staff
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience in project management and working with teams with diverse backgrounds and positions.
Strong written and oral communications skills, with experience in report writing.
Experience in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Understanding of utility rates, economic development, and/or other Cooperative utility services and programs is a plus.
Education and Work Experience:
Associates degree or higher education.
Experience with the electric utility industry is a plus.
