This is a position located within the Member Service Department. Supervise and perform the duties of a Member Service Representative (MSR) and take responsibility for developing and training employees, maintaining member focused communications, and directing all activities of the Member Service Department.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to members or employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute ratios and percentages.
Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to deal with job related problems and come to reasonable solutions without supervision.
Must be able to interact with the public in sensitive and emotionally driven situations.
Must use judgment in interpreting and adapting guidelines such as organizational policies, regulations, precedents, and work directions.
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver License, Class E or higher.
Prefer experience with SEDC, ATS, or NISC software.
Must be certified in CPR and First Aid or capable of obtaining certification.
Performs all duties of MSR.
Makes decisions and resolves issues for subordinates and members by interpreting policies and procedures.
Plans and coordinates coaching and training of MSR’s.
Monitors team performance, dynamics, and general overall environment of Member Service area.
Supervises employees within Member Service, to include satellite locations.
The work is generally performed in an office environment. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking, standing, stooping, carrying of items such as papers, books, files or small parts, or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
