The Springfield Headquarters is currently seeking candidates for a new role as Supervisor, Reliability Compliance. The position would supervise and coordinate activities and employees within the Reliability Compliance department. The primary areas of responsibility are focused on compliance risk for AECI with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), and the SERC Reliability Corporation (SERC) regulatory entities. This position implements the AECI NERC/SERC Compliance Program and coordinates with all divisions within AECI, member G&T cooperatives and regulatory entities.
What does a typical day look like for you as the Supervisor, Reliability Compliance? You will be:
Supervising administration of a risk-based internal control program, which includes monitoring, testing and performance metrics for all NERC standard requirements
Implementing, maintaining and promoting the AECI NERC/SERC Compliance Program
Maintaining tools which manage the AECI NERC Compliance Program
Leading multiple employees with diverse focus areas within the Reliability Compliance department
Acting as a compliance program consultant to AECI, member G&T cooperatives and external regulatory entities
Completing data filings with external regulatory compliance agencies
Acting as a liaison for external compliance audits and providing technical input when necessary
Communicating the impacts of NERC standards which may be enforceable or under development

A resource who can identify compliance issues and provide solutions to those issues
The ability to develop and implement impact assessments, risk analysis, and action plans
An experienced leader who can inspire technical staff to provide high quality, outstanding customer service
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Systems, or similar discipline, or commensurate experience
Someone who possesses 5+ years of utility experience, such as operations, engineering design, maintenance, engineering project management or risk management
A strong communicator who can build and foster strong business relationships
The ability to adapt to a rapidly changing operational and regulatory environment
