Salt River Electric Cooperative is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director of System Operations reporting directly to the CEO at our headquarters in Bardstown, Kentucky. The position requires 10 years of experience with 4 years or more in engineering highly desired in the electric utility. An extensive knowledge of building and maintaining an electrical distribution system, to include both overhead and underground lines is required.
Salt River Electric is a member owned electric distribution cooperative with over 52,000 meters and 3,500 miles of overhead and 784 miles of underground distribution lines. Salt River Electric is located in Central Kentucky and only 30 minutes south of Louisville, Kentucky.
