Responsible for providing administrative support for assigned Executive staff. Includes, but is not limited to, coordinating travel, meeting and event planning, scheduling meetings and conferences, preparing items for monthly Board meetings and working on special projects. Answers non-routine correspondence and deals with diverse group of external and internal contacts at all levels of the organizations. Assists Board members as needed
REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Training
High School level competence in English and math, and extensive knowledge of spelling, punctuation and grammar.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
Extensive knowledge of administrative office procedures and records maintenance.
Extensive knowledge of travel meeting coordination.
Extensive knowledge of office computer software and applications systems and equipment, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations applications, data bases and email.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Power Point, and SharePoint.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships and ability to coordinate and plan work.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Six (6) years of progressive office experience to include a minimum of five (4) years in an Administrative Assistant level position.
Must possess and maintain current Notary Public Certification or have ability to obtain, which must be done within six months of date of hire.
Business travel is required.
Must be able to demonstrate that he or she can perform all of the essential functions of the position.
DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Additional related college level education.
Business office environment experience, preferred.
