The Springfield Headquarters is currently seeking candidates for a new role as Document Control Coordinator in our Power Production Division. Primary areas of responsibility will be to lead the development, implementation and execution of the Document Control Program for Associated’s power fleet. This will include leadership in the vision, strategy and activities contributing to the integration of the Document Control Program with the Enterprise Asset Management and Management of Change programs. Activities will include selection/implementation/administration of technology infrastructure; policy and procedure development, distribution and maintenance; needs assessments; workflow development; and collaboration with business partners in other programs.
What does a typical day look like for you as a Document Control Coordinator? You will be:
Developing and maintaining a document management system to identify drawings, manuals and training materials related to AECI’s power fleet
Conducting necessary training on document management system
Maintaining the electronic drawing library, including uploading new or revised engineering documents
Assisting with GIS data development and integration for facility and network-wide assets

What we are looking for:
A team player who can work and communicate with various technical backgrounds
An associate or bachelor’s degree in drafting/design, engineering/manufacturing/industrial technology, construction management, or similar program preferred
A minimum of 5 years’ experience performing document control and drafting duties
A minimum of 2 year’s experience in lead, supervisory or program management role for document control
Experience in configuration management, management of change, and document control
Understanding of environmental and engineering principals
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications
GIS coursework completion, Certificate, or experience is a plus
