Mountain Parks Electric, Inc. (MPE) is an electrical cooperative located in Granby, CO in the north central mountains of Colorado. MPE has three job openings for the position of Journey Lineworker; one will be located at our company headquarters in Granby, CO, one in our satellite office in Kremmling, CO and the other in our satellite office in Walden, CO. MPE owns and operates approximately 1600 miles of line operating at 25kV with approximately 21,000 meters.
Applicants should have a good working knowledge of RUS Specifications, have adequate experience in electric line construction, maintenance and troubleshooting, both in underground and overhead, including live line maintenance. Preferred candidates will have a HS Diploma or GED, completed a 4-year certified apprenticeship program, and possess a Journeyman Lineworker Certificate. Must have and maintain a valid Colorado Class A CDL or obtain one within 90 days of hire.
