Our Headquarters in Springfield, MO is currently hiring for a Sr. Manager, Gas Plant Operations to join our leadership team in the Power Production division. This position is responsible for the long-term operation of AECI’s gas and fuel oil generating assets. This position will maintain best in class performance in the areas of safety, availability, reliability, environmental and NERC compliance, maintenance, and costs while acting ethically and in compliance with all regulations.

What you’ll do in your role:
Utilize your engineering degree and/or minimum of 10 years’ experience with combustion turbines.
Provide strategic leadership and direction to a team high performing professionals.
Shape, align and execute AECI’s mission, vision and strategic objectives for stakeholder success at the operational level.
Develop and set goals for the gas team that enable AECI to maintain a reliable power generating source.
Lead the development of annual and long-range maintenance plans for the gas plants.
Establish and monitor operational benchmarks, such as KPIs to form trends and facilitate improvements.
Lead the gas team’s technical and professional training, succession planning and organizational development efforts
