Mountain Parks Electric, Inc. (MPE) is an electrical cooperative located in Granby, CO in the north central mountains of Colorado.
MPE has an immediate opening for an IT Specialist at its Granby headquarters. Preferred applicants will have an Associate’s Degree in Information Technology , MIS, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Minimum three years of related professional experience required; candidates with experience with primary responsibilities as listed below will be preferred. COMPTIA A+, Network +, Security +, Microsoft MCSA certification or other industry certifications preferred. This position will report to the Manager of IT.
Primary responsibilities of the position include:
Provide front line support to end users by promptly responding to phone and email support requests.
Manage tickets using the IT help desk system and create documentation for all technical issues.
Image, configure, install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain enterprise workstations, laptops, tablets, smart phones, multi-function printers and other peripheral devices.
Modify and fine tune operating systems to obtain compatibility with peripheral hardware and application software.
Install and upgrade software as necessary.
Assist with the coordination of workstation and laptop procurement and disposal/recycling.
Assist with maintaining records of hardware assets and software licenses.
Assist with the development of training materials and the delivery to end users.
Providing training and support for employees on software and hardware required by the day-to-day operations of MPEI.
Other duties as assigned.
