Extensive knowledge of and compliance with the Electrical Utility Safety Rules and procedures.
Maintain the program’s equipment and lab facilities and complete reports for the program.
Recruit and advise students about the job market and the Lineman Program.
Maintain, and improve through professional development, competence in discipline knowledge and instructional techniques and capabilities.
Participate in internal and external service within the college service area.
Participate in Continuing Education and Community Service offerings.
Serve on division, college, and system committees as elected or appointed.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Associate Degree and 10 years working as a Lineman in the Electrical Utility field and possess a current CDL-A license; excellent organizational skills; high attention to detail; self-motivated; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate well in writing and verbally with parents, students, and industry, representing his/her self in a professional and courteous manner; must have the ability to utilize different methods and mediums in delivering course material, proven educational or administrative experience in critical thinking, problem solving and judgment skills. Must have minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
