Orange County Fiber, a division of Orange County REMC headquartered in Orleans, Indiana, is seeking a professional and experienced individual to fill a Network Technician position. This role will assist in the management of Window servers, Linux server operating systems, IP Networking, Calix fiber distribution equipment, and VoIP deployment.
Job duties will include; installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the network and internet systems. This individual will perform configurations on multiple components throughout the network: routers, switches, and access points, both on site and remotely. Installing new software releases, system upgrades and maintenance, evaluating and installing patches to resolve issues will be expected of this role. He or she will participate in performance and load testing in the development of strategies for future growth, as well as design of IP addressing schema, and documentation of IP addressing and devices.

Industry recognized certifications are a plus. Associates Degree or relevant experience is required. Travel could be daily within our service territory. No telecommuting
