Central Electric Power Cooperative is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to fill the position of Manager of Distribution Engineering. The successful candidate will manage a department providing engineering and operations assistance for eight distribution cooperatives.
Successful candidates must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, be a licensed Professional Engineer and have at least 2 to 5 years of previous electric utility experience or consulting experience to the electric utility industry. In addition, candidates should be familiar with Milsoft engineering analysis, recloser/fuse coordination software, GIS Software, Excel, and Word. Knowledge of other computer applications that are utilized to support electrical utility operations is a plus.
Central Electric Power Cooperative is a Generation and Transmission cooperative with its headquarters located in Jefferson City. Central provides service to its eight member distribution cooperative systems in a 27 county area through 1,600 miles of transmission line and 113 substations.
