Due to a recent promotion, AECI is seeking applicants for an O&M Coordinator position in the Power Production Division. This position is located at our St. Francis combined cycle facility in southeast Missouri, which is thirty-five minutes from Poplar Bluff and the nearby Ozark National Scenic Riverways. This position is the onsite AECI representative and should be able to function in nearly any capacity at the plant. This position will ensure that the facility is operated in a safe, reliable and economic manner consistent with AECI business needs, site O&M agreement, contracts, permits, rules, regulations and written instructions.
Ensure third party operator is performing all of the requirements of the contractual agreement with AECI.
Track and manage O&M costs (i.e. planned, unplanned, major, preventive and predictive maintenance; consumables).
Track human performance, safety and environmental incidents and issues.
Review and verify monthly operations data and reports.
Travel as needed to other plant sites and AECI headquarters.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent operating and maintenance experience is preferred.
Solid understanding of operations and maintenance related to combined cycle power plants.
Proven experience with combustion turbines, steam turbines, HRSG, balance of plant and distributed control systems technology.
Detailed knowledge of key plant systems (i.e. water, steam, lubricating and hydraulic fluids, medium and high voltage, condensing/cooling water, hydrogen).
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
