Hire and manage staff for 24/7 dispatch center. Organize, assign and review the work of system operators. Facilitate and support assigned process improvement initiatives. Instructs and encourages the use of technology in the field.
Plan, prioritize and review the work of assigned staff. Develop and manage schedules that ensure service and system restoration work is completed in a timely, efficient manner. Select, train and support staff, work with staff to improve dispatch center performance and work processes. Supervise the accurate, proficient handling of consumer service order requests. Direct efficient dispatching of service personnel via AppSuite, radio, telephone, email, text message, etc. Monitor system data and assure timely report of relay, breaker and fuse problems to appropriate department(s). Ensure transmission of accurate and timely information when assisting crews in locating defective equipment during outages and after hours. Coach staff in dealing with all consumers in a professional, courteous manner. Work with field personnel to encourage, train, and gather feedback in the use of mobile technology.
