About Us Beacon Broadband, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative, Inc. established in 2020 to serve the Oregon south coast and extend the high-speed fiber experience where no one else will go. Primary Purpose The Administrative Services Director will coordinate and perform a diverse set of support tasks, including but not limited to managing corporate documents, managing corporate correspondence, coordinating staff calendars, project management, contract management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and interfacing with the public. These tasks are essential functions designed to ensure the organization has the resources needed to operate smoothly and efficiently. Identifies opportunities for cost savings, better efficiency, or other improvements, and recommends and implements policy or process changes as appropriate. This position will cross-train as a customer service representative and as a NOC technician for backup purposes. This position is a member of the Beacon Broadband leadership team. Contract Management - Prepares, negotiates, analyzes, and reviews contracts for equipment, supplies, materials, services, and products.
- Monitor contract compliance and recommend and/or take corrective action for contract non-compliance.
- Monitor contract expiration and renewal requirements.
- Establish and monitor contract key performance indicators.
- Manage subscriptions and other relationships with vendors and suppliers
Facilities and Materials Management - Ensures that buildings, grounds, equipment, and supplies are maintained and serviced.
- Oversees the acquisition, distribution, and storage of company supplies and shared support services such as mailing, printing, and copying; security; and cleaning and maintenance.
- Creates and administers budgets for supplies, equipment, and contract services.
- Collaborates with management team to create functional and productive work and other business spaces.
- Track materials inventories and oversee materials handling.
- Manage materials inventories to ensure that materials for each project phase are available.
- Work in concert with CCEC staff to ensure materials are procured in a timely fashion.
Project Management - Track project tasks to completion.
- Coordinate with staff and contractors to ensure project intermediate deliverables meet requirements.
Financial and Administrative Services - Work in concert with CCEC staff to manage company financials.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Coordinate with CCEC staff to manage human resources and benefits.
- Prepares and reviews staff, maintenance, and other recurring schedules and reports for accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage organizational correspondence.
- Manage an organizational document repository and all key company documents.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility None Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and typical work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Travel Occasional travel within the Beacon Broadband service territory. Occasional travel to training seminars and/or conferences. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
- Seven years of related experience required, with prior management experience preferred.
- Fiber optic broadband experience preferred.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications - Strong MS Office Suite skills.
- Reliable transportation for getting to work.
- Must be free from illegal drugs; may be subject to random and /or suspicion testing.
