Orange County Fiber, located in Orleans, Indiana, has an immediate opening to fill a vacancy in our Network Administrator role. This highly qualified individual will be responsible for network performance in the areas of our Calix distributed fiber to the home project, wireless ISP services, VoIP platform, Windows and Linux servers and operating systems, IP networking and routing protocol.
Job Duties will include; installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the network and internet systems. The individual will perform configurations on components of the network: routers, switches, access points, on site and remotely. Installing new software/firmware, system upgrades and maintenance, evaluating and identifying system errors and inefficiencies, planning and performing patches and repairs to resolve issues will be part of the daily responsibilities of this candidate. This role will participate in performance and load testing in the development of strategies for future growth, as well as design of IP addressing and schema, documentation of IP addressing and Network architecture. The Network Administrator for Orange County Fiber will provide support to a team of installers as well as our member/consumer base, managed service contracts, customer Email flow, and IT services.

Routing protocols; BGP, EIGRP, OSPF
Windows servers; AD-DS. DNS, RRAS, Hyper-V
Linux CLI, bind, freeradius, postfix, KVM, QEMU, and ssh
Cisco (CCNA), Mikrotik (MTCNA)
Industry recognized certifications are a plus. Associates degree or relevant experience is required. Travel could be daily within our service territory. No telecommuting.
