Pioneer Electric Cooperative, Inc. located in Greenville, AL has an opening for a Groundman. This position assists linemen with construction of new distribution and/or services; maintains tools/equipment in proper working order. Expected to successfully complete the lineman apprenticeship program through on-the-job training, as well as through classroom training provided by the Cooperative. Must become a qualified climber and proficiently demonstrate the ability to perform pole top and bucket rescue with training provided by the Cooperative. Successful applicant is required to live within a 15-mile radius of the Greenville, AL office. Must obtain and maintain proper Commercial Drivers License.
