Central Electric Power Cooperative is currently accepting applications for the position of Storeroom Assistant. Individuals interested in this position must have a minimum of two years warehouse experience or equivalent. Individuals must have or obtain a valid Class E drivers license (Class A preferred). The Storeroom Assistant works closely with the Storeroom Supervisor as well as with the outside crews and other departments of Central Electric Power Cooperative to ensure that materials and supplies are maintained at an appropriate level and are available for the timely completion of projects. Familiarity with a computerized stores management system is a plus. Individuals interested in this position must be capable of safely operating forklifts, boom trucks, overhead cranes and other vehicles. This position requires extensive organizational skills and the ability to be flexible in daily operations. This position also involves some work in inclement weather conditions. The Storeroom Assistant must also be available to work during emergencies.
