The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Darke REC’s safety program including, but not limited to RESAP (Rural Electric Safety Achievement Program), SIP (Safety Improvement Plan), Safety Manual, MSDS Online, Web Based Training, First AID/CPR, Safe Talks, Crew Visits during and after hours. Will be responsible for documentation Journeyman Lineman training and documentation of OJT hours. Will work with the Director of Engineering to assist with line design, laying out material, and supervision of line construction. Will be responsible for substation inspections and other distribution equipment inspections.
Experience as a Lineman in 12.47/7.2 KV distribution line construction and safe work practices is required. Knowledge of RUS construction units desired. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and be willing to relocate within close proximity to the cooperative office.
