Hoosier Energy is seeking a Senior Vice President Member Engagement at our Headquarters location in Bloomington, Indiana.
In this key leadership role reporting directly to the CEO, this position directs and manages the personnel, activities and strategy of all aspects of member service programs, energy management solutions, corporate communications, tariffs and rates. Energy management solutions encompasses designing, delivering and administering innovative incentive programs to address emerging technologies including efficient and beneficial electrification to achieve short- and long-term goals. This position provides leadership and is accountable for broad member program implementation to ensure continued execution of the Cooperative’s mission. Cultivating individuals and teams to leverage innovative opportunities and solve complex challenges; working directly with the Chief Technology Officer to ensure emerging technology projects, pilots and program objectives are met, as well as working very closely on emerging energy resource projects are integral to this role. Ensures emerging technology and emerging energy resources strategic initiatives are met by working across the power network to attain the goals established in the strategic plan. In the future, this position has the potential of long-term responsibility for emerging energy technology as the utility landscape transitions to new and emerging resources.
The Senior Vice President Member Engagement provides direction and actively participates on the Crisis Management Team; and works with respective departments to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations related to business continuity standards and guidelines. This position works closely and collaboratively with our 18 member systems to deliver continuous value and solutions while ensuring alignment with cooperative objectives and principles.
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, engineering, technology or related discipline; advanced graduate technical or business degree preferred. Eight years’ minimum experience with progressive responsibility in business management related activities. Industry related experience in electric transmission or distribution with higher levels of responsibility, as well as a background in technology is desirable.
