Position Summary: Performs warehousing activities involving all materials, tools, supplies and equipment necessary to provide the most economical and reliable service to members/owners while achieving Cooperative goals and objectives. Reporting Relationships: Reports to – Warehouses Supervisor & Manager of Materials & Logistics Directs – None Responsibilities and Authorities: Essential Functions of the Job – Requisitions, receives, stores, issues, delivers and accounts for all materials, tools, supplies, and equipment required for the operation of the Cooperative. Maintain neat, legible, and accurate written records documenting the receipt, stocking and issuance of materials, tools, supplies and equipment, as well as computer generated information. Maintain neat, legible, and accurate written records and computer records to ensure proper inventory control and job cost work order accounting. Maintain District Office Warehouse and equipment in neat and good working order, along with general maintenance and upkeep of overall District Complex. Responsible for vehicle, tools and other SVEC equipment assigned for his/her use. Responsible for the oil handling and disposal requirements within the District. Responsible for managing pole yard including disposal of used poles. (SVEC doesn’t have a used program, with Member List). Responsible for the preparation and staging of materials for contractors, as well as SVEC. Responsible for weekly inspections of eye wash and first aid stations, as well as monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, and AED stations within the District Complex. Responsible for general maintenance inspections such as building air conditioner filters, stand-by equipment, etc. Perform, under strict supervision, diversified work including, but not limited to, the construction, installation, maintenance and removal of structures and equipment involved in the distribution of electricity, including, but not limited to, transformer banks, regulators, line capacitors and oil circuit reclosers on both energized and de-energized lines. Responsible for managing, exchanging, and issuing of rubber goods safety PPE for SVEC District employees. Assist in special projects as necessary. |
