The NISC Engineering and Operations (E&O) division is looking to fill a position:
Implementing the Provisioning (SwitchTalk2) application - NISC's auto-provisioning application, which provides provisioning and auditing capabilities from NISC to various switches, television head ends, access software, and other third-party software applications.
The position will work with the member/customer to effectively implement the applications. This includes managing project timelines and informing various individuals, including NISC employees and member/customer employees, of project expectations. It also includes analyzing the data from the member/customer’s current system to ensure that it is properly converted in to the NISC software. To learn more about our operations software, click here.
Provides superior customer support to internal and external customers in all encounters.
Communicate with all parties involved in the enterprise implementation
Designs and delivers training to the Member employees to prepare for “live” week.
Facilitate and follow up with Member/Customers on difficult requests and procedures.
Conveys customer feedback to product development staff as appropriate.
Conduct conversion analysis.
Determine expectations and timelines of the Member’s conversion process.
Identify gaps in features and functionality in software and oversee resolution.
Identify changes required for conversion of data.
Performs research of difficult application problems, resolves issues for Member/Customers and recommends changes or enhancements as directed.
Complete and prepare conversion documents.
Prepare and monitor the Project Plan and oversee the standardization of artifacts.
Utilizes all implementation best practices and artifacts for all implementation projects.
Assists customers in all aspects of implementation including troubleshooting, training, and on-going support.
Perform on-site training or deliver remote application training to Member/Customers via Web Tools.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred:
Strong PC skills with focus on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
Excellent research and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent presentation and training skills
Ability to organize and prioritize.
Ability to travel as often as necessary to meet the goals and objectives of the position.
Basic programming skills a plus

Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
