This position supervises the Association's headquarters warehouse team. This position manages the Association’s inventory of stock substation, transmission, and distribution materials, along with associated procurement activities and practices to ensure compliance with the Association’s policies and internal controls, as well as effective utilization of available resources.
ESSENTIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates are required to have:
- An associate degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- Three (3) years relevant experience in the procurement of electrical utility materials and equipment, or the application and use of electrical utility materials and equipment.
- Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience of two or more employees.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office products and computerized inventory control systems.
Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) or Certified Public Purchasing Officer (C.P.P.O) certification preferred.
Qualified candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record, which is acceptable and insurable by the Association and the Association’s insurance carrier at standard group rates.
