Kiamichi Electric Cooperative is headquartered in Wilburton Oklahoma. KEC serves all or parts of 5 counties in southeastern Oklahoma with 4200 miles of distribution lines and 22,500 meters.
Position Responsibilities:
Managing a team of employees
Design for new services and system improvement projects
System Planning
System Protection
Metering
Right of way clearing planning and implementation.
It is preferred that interested candidates have 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical distribution operations/engineering with supervisory experience. Also preferred is a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a Professional Engineers License is a plus. Experience using MilSofts engineering analysis software very helpful. Must have the ability to work closely with employees, departments, and members to help solve problems and create solutions. Exceptional communications skills are required.
