Three Rivers Electric Cooperative is currently seeking a Member Service Advisor. Applicants must have reliable transportation and the flexibility to report to multiple office locations in Linn, Jefferson City, or Brazito. This position works closely with the Cooperative membership and various internal departments. Applicant must be able to pass a background check, general physical, and drug and alcohol screening.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to meeting members for energy audits, new service requests, assisting with voltage and high usage inquiries, discussing net metering (solar/wind) with members, along with cashier and receptionist duties, handling member inquiries and requests, processing member information, maintaining member records in a computerized environment, and various other general office duties.
Qualified candidates should possess an Associate’s degree or above. Fundamental business skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are considered important. Applicants should possess excellent customer service and telephone skills. Knowledge in Microsoft Office products, computer data entry and the ability to operate electronic business equipment is desired. Additional skills or experience in general electricity, HVAC, construction, marketing, social media, communications, or IT are a plus.
