Jasper County REMC, a rural electric distribution cooperative located in Rensselaer, Indiana, is seeking candidates for a qualified Journeyman Lineman.
Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, successful completion of a recognized apprenticeship program by the US Department of Labor. Possess and maintain a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License.
Candidate must be proficient in electric utility line work and demonstrate the mechanical and physical ability to perform that work. Position involves outside work in all kinds of weather, some heavy lifting, occasional overtime and overnight travel.
