Lake Country Power is a Touchstone Energy® electrical distribution cooperative with 43,000 members in northeastern Minnesota. We have an excellent opportunity for two Consumer Account Reps. One position is in our Cohasset service center and one is in our Kettle River service center.
Consumer Account Reps are responsible for resolving a wide range of member inquiries and concerns regarding issues related to collections, membership transfers, bill payments, capital credit refunds, and other miscellaneous issues. This position is also responsible for updating and maintaining member billing records. In addition, this position assists with receiving member payments and allocating payment to proper accounts.
The majority of the member interactions with this position are done via telephone, however this position will assist the front desk when we reopen to the public.
Qualified candidates must have 2 years post-secondary education; or have 2-5 years of related consumer billing or banking work experience. Excellent customer service, problem solving and conflict resolution skills; be highly proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; and superior verbal and written communication skills are required.
