PowerSouth Energy Cooperative, an electric generation and transmission cooperative serving Alabama and Northwest Florida, is seeking a General Clerk in the Computer Information Services Department at the Headquarters Office located in Andalusia, Alabama. This position provides routine administrative support.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and one (1) year of clerical experience. In addition, applicants must have a basic knowledge of applicable software applications, basic mathematical skills, organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy in order to maintain an orderly workspace and quality work. Applicants must demonstrate a potential for success in the General Clerk position by qualifying on an aptitude-based clerical placement exercise, and a behaviorally-based structured interview.
