We are currently seeking a Digital and Multi-Media Intern at our Headquarters facility in Springfield, Missouri. This is a paid internship that offers full-time employment during the summer semester with the opportunity to continue part-time during the fall. Normal working days are Monday through Friday. Qualified applicants must be currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in a marketing, digital media, or communications-related field and possess a strong interest in digital media, multi-media, social media, website content management and video production. Applicants should also be enrolled in school at the time of the internship. Applicants should be detail-oriented and show willingness to work in a team environment; be creative and have strong technical and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to write interesting content. Knowledge of website content management systems, social/digital media marketing and experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Spark is recommended.
The intern will write social media copy, research photos and design graphics to match the copy, place and monitor posts for engagements and provide insights from the posts; assist in the development of digital media topics, review blog information, research photos to match the topic while learning about insights and engagements. The intern will assist with creation and design of email marketing. In addition, the intern will assist with content editing, photo research and other items related to managing content on several web properties and may assist with script writing, graphic development and other pre-production aspects of video projects with a specific emphasis on social media video.
