Summary: This position is being sought to create and manage a comprehensive, all employee learning and training program. The needs of this program are end to end. If you’ve managed employee wide learning and training programs to include project/program management, sourcing and creating instructionally sound learning assets, building and assigning curriculums, measuring effectiveness and delivering training – you’re a perfect fit! This position reports under the organization development lead within our People Services (HR) Division.
Project and program manage the development and ongoing maintenance of NISC’s employee training and development program.
Utilize common frameworks, models and standards that promote successful learning efforts.
Create and/or source instructional training deliverables to be used in all facets of employee training.
Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness while tracking and reporting on training outcomes.
Partner with management and subject matter experts on creating persona based, and instructionally sound learner paths related to onboarding and career growth ensuring resources are designed, organized, communicated and maintained for easy employee access and use via NISC’s learning management system.
Facilitate and/or deliver learning curriculum through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching, etc.
Proactively identify employee training gaps or areas in need of additional training and create solutions.
Champion modern training methods and best practices to facilitate and manage internal training opportunities as well as staying up-to-date on learning and development technologies.
Market, deliver, assign and/or schedule companywide training opportunities, as requested.
Partner with NISC’s Learning Center to actively manage and provide guidance on internal learning matters ranging from learning management system use to learning best practices.
Support LMS oversight and maintenance via course creation, enrollment tracking, reporting, etc.
Manage vendor relations and budgets, as requested.
Support leadership development efforts, as requested.
Lead by example in being a professional, positive influence and change agent within the organization.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred:
8+ years of related experience, preferred.
Moderate level knowledge of the Utility or Telecom industries, preferred.
Advanced level knowledge of business-related software applications and services.

Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
