The System Operations Supervisor is part of the operations management team and works under the general direction of the Operations Superintendent.
Oversees and coordinates the daily operations of select Operations personnel while ensuring Association objectives and goals are met.
Monitor and utilize the supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and outage management system (OMS) to analyze and predict outage conditions and direct outage restorations and operations on the distribution system.

Education and/or formal training needed: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience needed: At least four years of relevant experience at an electric utility or related business is required.
Knowledge, skill and abilities needed: Excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft office programs. Previous work experience using OMS, Mobile Work Force, Command Center and SCADA is preferred. The ability to meet deadlines, stay organized and work well with other employees and consumers is necessary, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently. Knowledge of legal descriptions, electrical terminology, grammar and proofreading, and general office skills is necessary.
