The National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation, or CFC, seeks a Senior Human Resources Generalist specializing in Recruitment & Employee Relations. Our organization is a member-driven leader with a fast-paced, challenging, and collaborative environment with the shared mission of supporting America’s network of rural electric cooperatives.
In this position you will support CFC’s efforts to attract, retain and engage staff to meet CFC’s present and future talent needs. You will also contribute to positive employee relations as a resource to managers and employees on policies, practices, performance issues and employee engagement.
As a Senior HR Generalist - Recruiting & Employee Relations, you will:
• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle for a variety of openings to include senior financial and technical positions, partnering with management to create effective search strategies and using multiple methods to attract the best talent. • Handle HR processes, compliance and reporting in the employment function to include required reporting, new hire on-boarding and exit processing. • Act as an employee resource for policy questions and work-related concerns. • Provide guidance to managers on employee relations issues. • Promote CFC culture and employment branding though effective promotional communications as well as contributing to employee engagement initiatives such as community service, team building and employee events. • Prepare information, reports and presentation materials for employees and management. • Contribute to HR team projects and collaborate on initiatives across all HR functional areas.
To be successful, you will need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. • Minimum of six years of experience in Human Resources. • Experience in recruiting, employee relations, employee engagement and compensation. • Significant knowledge of HR laws and regulations. • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
