Due to a recent promotion, we are currently seeking applicants for an Environmental Analyst in the Environmental, Health and Safety department of our Power Production division. This position is primarily responsible for permitting, monitoring, reporting and analyzing regulations related to air emissions at AECI generating facilities. All experience levels will be considered. Job Responsibilities:
Work with the continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS)
Implement and monitor Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Clean Air Act (CAA) compliance program.
Lead and/or participate in annual environmental air audits.
Develop and conduct training at plants.
Interact with federal and state regulatory agencies.
This position will require up to 25% travel.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Ecology, Computer Science or a related applied science.
Minimum of 2 years related experience is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and/or projects to meet deadlines is required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to build relationships across all levels within and outside of the organization.
Knowledge of Clean Air Act (CAA) is preferred.
