Provides quality Salesforce technology support for members as well as Hoosier Energy employees. This includes setting-up new users, user maintenance, managing organization wide defaults, permissions, role hierarchy, platform customizations, creating dashboards and reports, training new users and collating requirements for new processes with stakeholders. Provides support to staff on all company-supported applications. Provides technology support to Hoosier Energy employees as end users, giving prompt and professional resolution to any problems with company standard hardware, software or network/communications tools or services.
This position is a temporary position and the incumbent for this role will be employed through a local staffing agency.
Collating requirements for new processes with stakeholders
Exceptional communication skills as they’ll work with people at all levels in the organization, the CEO to the users themselves across the business.
Patient, with the ability to listen and understand customer problems, needs and issues will be useful, as will the confidence to push back on requests which aren’t in the best interests of the platform. Governance and best practice are key considerations in this role.
Influential and motivating. The users across the organization might not all be the most system savvy or keen to use the system, and so these qualities demonstrated by the Salesforce Admin will be helpful to drive user adoption.
Solution focused. The beauty of Salesforce as a CRM tool is that there is no specific way of doing anything. For a single set of requirements, there could several solutions.
Associate’s Degree Information Technology or related field minimum
Two years’ Salesforce platform experience in a corporate environment minimum
Two years’ technology support experience in a corporate environment minimum
One year information technology and networking experience minimum
Skills and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal communication, organizational and technical skills to include a high understanding of customer service.
Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment and exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
Critical thinking skills to resolve incidents quickly and consistently.
Ability to install, configure and maintain personal computers, networks and related hardware and software.
Knowledge of computer and/or network security systems, applications, procedures and techniques, specializing in Salesforce.
Awareness of core processes and best practices used in service and support of programs, specializing in Salesforce.
Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.
Knowledge of services level agreements and standard operating procedures.
Ability to identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operations problems.
This position can be 90% remote work with a possibility of coming into the Bloomington Headquarters bi-weekly
