REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Training
Associates degree in Accounting or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
Working knowledge of payroll fundamentals.
Working knowledge of personal computers, computerized payroll and accounting systems, Microsoft Office products.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat DC
Ability to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships.
Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations as they apply to payroll.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Zero (0) to three (3) years (or equivalent combination of experience and education).
Willingness to prepare and research special projects.
DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of accounting concepts preferred.
Familiarity with Oracle payroll software desired.
Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
