We are excited to be growing our Information Technology Team and are in search of a Manager of Information Technology.
The Manager of Information Technology position directs and supports the Business Systems and Infrastructure teams within the information technology team. Responsible for the efficacy of all aspects of the Cooperative’s information technology and security program including business intelligence, data analysis, software acquisitions and development, infrastructure architecture and design, and voice and data communications systems. Provides project leadership and works closely with business unit departments to ensure the success of technology. This position supports strategic direction and operational effectiveness of Cooperative technology and works with business units to ensure IT systems align with business needs.
As a member of the MVEC Leadership Team, the Manager of Information Technology is empowered to lead the day-to-day operations within the information technology team. Leadership Team Members are experts in their areas and suggest the “what’s” and develop/implement the “how’s.” The Leadership Team’s focus is establishing priorities, developing processes, leading by example, and managing resources. The Leadership Team is accountable to the vision, mission, serving MVEC members with a sense of urgency and the Spirit of Our Cooperative.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Directs and supports Business Systems team to align technology with business processes and data intelligence requirements to support strategic and operational objectives.
·Directs and supports Infrastructure team to ensure technology supports business applications and the security of Cooperative systems.
·Works with business units to assure business systems align, and produce actionable intelligence.
· Oversees, and continually enhances the Cooperatives information security program.
· Works with information technology staff to determine annual budget and manages annual spending.
· Responsible for developing and maintaining the Cooperatives technology plan.
· Provides personnel orientation/training, coaching, evaluating performance, and disciplinary action/monitoring of staff, including decisions related to reward, transfer, suspension, promotion, or any other necessary disciplinary or commendation-related action for staff.
