Hourly Wage $46.63 - $49.08

Relocation Expenses up to $12,500

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Journeyman Lineman will perform the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground high voltage power lines. This position will set poles and change pole equipment; string and sag wire; handle oil-filled equipment; pull, lay, and terminate underground cable; install pad-mounted equipment; work on poles, in bucket trucks, in heights and close proximity to high voltages, in trenches, in vaults; and operate and work around heavy equipment. This position works with other departments and assists other employees as directed within the scope of their qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A High School Diploma or G.E.D with a completed registered Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship program. Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class “A”) with ability to meet all DOT requirements.  Experience working on all types of distribution lines including 4kv to 21kv and all related equipment required. Must live within 30 minutes from the office headquarters as reasonable and necessary overtime work will be required
