The Data Analyst position is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and support of the software solutions owned by the Enterprise Department as well as assisting in the development, refinement, and maintenance of the coop's digital business processes and workflows.
Essential Job Functions:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and support Futura Flex and mobile service orders.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and support Futura Field Pro and mobile maps.
Maintain, troubleshoot, develop, and support the Laserfiche ECM suite and workflows.
Maintain, troubleshoot, develop, and support Microsoft SQL Server and accompanying applications.
Maintain, troubleshoot, develop, and support CIS & FIS applications across all internal departments.
Assist Enterprise Manager in maintaining and support of all other applications, line of business software, processes and hardware as needed such as GIS, Staking, and Metering applications.
Support enterprise level APIs and data pipelines using object-oriented languages (C#.NET, Java), scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.), and data formats (XML, Multi-Speak, and JSON)
Create custom reports as requested by internal departments utilizing Meridian IQ - Tableau.
Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
Works with developers and internal users to ensure integrity of data.
Works with internal departments and users to gather requirements and suggest solutions to meet the needs of the coop.
Assists in the assessment of the effectiveness and ensures accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
Maintain an awareness of cyber-security throughout the applications and business processes and work closely with cyber security team.
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
Position Requirements:
Education / Experience
BS in Information Technology, or a related discipline is desired
OR
Minimum two years of applicable experience.
Abilities and Skills:
Experience with utility line of business CIS & FIS Applications
Experience with analytical tools such as Tableau, Power BI, MS Access, or MS Excel
Working knowledge of GIS, service order, work order and other mobile iOS applications as needed
Proficient with MSSQL Server
Proficient with Laserfiche ECM Software
Ability to work with PostgreSQL, MS Access, and other database platforms as needed
Working Knowledge of IVR system
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
Working knowledge of object-oriented languages, scripting, and data formats such as C#, JavaScript, and Multi-Speak.
Experience developing, maintaining, and evolving process digital and analog workflow
Ability to show excellent troubleshooting skills across a broad range of software applications to meet internal customer needs
Excellent verbal and written communications skills for coordination across teams
Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage tasks and time effectively
Ability to consistently meet deadlines and work efficiently in conjunction with vendors and/or other departments
