Key Roles
Senior Systems Admin
Under general supervision, the Senior System Administrator designs, evaluates, installs, and maintains the hardware and software installation of EKPC. The position will ensure the infrastructure can meet the business needs of the future and plan accordingly. The Senior Systems Administrator will work with IT Leadership to maintain IT Policies and Procedures. The position will mentor and provide guidance to the Systems Administrator.
Systems Admin
Under general supervision, the System Administrator installs and maintains the hardware and software installation of EKPC. The position ensures systems availability in accordance with IT policies and procedures. The Systems Administrator analyzes and implements tools for the monitoring of performance, security, and events. The position works closely with various business units to ensure IT needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
Senior Systems Admin
Evaluates, designs, implements, and supports network servers and storage.
Performs installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Linux, Windows, and various hypervisors.
Responsible for PeopleSoft, Maximo, and middleware applications including business intelligence, document management, and project management.
Works with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to maintain patches, updates, and permissions.
Maintains backup systems and data at the Disaster Recovery Site in accordance with IT Business Continuity Plan and develops testing plans and metrics.
Works with the DBA to ensure performance and integrity of the database installation.
Works with IT leadership to develop and maintain IT Policies and Procedures and ensure all systems are in compliance.
Works with the LAN Architect to ensure current and future needs of the Data Center and Network infrastructure are meet.
Provides technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the help desk and other groups.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements
Senior Systems Admin
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or information systems. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
Experience:
Seven (7) years of related experience.
Skills and Abilities:
Experience with managing and utilizing servers, storage, and networks.
Experience with Windows, Linux, and Virtualization.
Thorough knowledge of applications in ERP, business intellgence, document management, and project management.
Thorough experience with cyber security tools (SIEM, EDR).
Experience with ORACLE and MSSQL databases.
Strong listening, written, and oral communication skills.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Experience:
A minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
Skills and Abilities:
