Information Technology Analyst

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to understand organizational and operational challenges.
• Keep up to date on the latest applications of information technology.
• Analyze computer hardware and software needs for the organization and end users.
• Provide prompt support with technical issues.
• Diagnose system issues and provide recommendations to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Complete system upgrades and maintain proper documentation.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Network System Security, or other computer-related degree.
• Ability to adapt and quickly implement effective solutions.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record is required.

East River Electric is a not-for-profit generation and transmission cooperative with a main campus located in Madison, South Dakota. We deliver wholesale power to our members, which include 24 rural electric distribution cooperatives and one municipally-owned electric system in eastern South Dakota and western Minnesota.
