Responsible for building, maintaining, and repairing overhead and underground power distribution lines and facilities in accordance with standards utilized by the Cooperative. Journeyman will work within the scope of his training and certification in a safe and efficient manner under the immediate leadership and direction of the Operations Manager, Crew Leader or Leadman.  Clear and accurate communication skills are essential. Knowledge of the equipment and its operation to construct and maintain energized and de-energized electrical systems is necessary. Basic knowledge of RUS line specifications, National Electric Code, National Electric Safety Codes is necessary.
