Description The Operation and Maintenance (O & M) Technician III ensures the safe, efficient, and proper operation and maintenance of ODEC’s combined cycle power generation facility in Conowingo, MD. General duties include startup, shutdown and normal operations of all plant systems including the main combustion turbines, steam turbine, heat recovery steam generators, and auxiliary systems. This position performs routine shift rounds and includes monitoring and troubleshooting of all plant equipment external to the control room. This position strictly adheres to all safety and environmental rules and regulations to protect employees and public safety. This position requires working varying hours in a team environment while performing various support functions.
