Position Summary
Directs kitchen/cafeteria duties, catering set-up and setting up beverages and snacks for meetings. Coordinates all catering for meetings which includes placing orders with various catering vendors. Coordinates setting up lunches and drinks with all departments in the Company.
Performs a wide range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operations of the Member Engagement Division. This multifaceted role works in close partnership with each of the respective departments within the division (Communications, Economic Development, Key Accounts, Marketing, and Public Policy) on a wide array of projects, initiatives and support functions.
Job Specifications
Education
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
Experience
- Kitchen, cafeteria and/or catering experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels and work as part of a team
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills to identify, anticipate and resolve problems at hand
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying scopes and timelines
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer orientation
- Broad knowledge of food preparation and nutritional awareness
Hours: Approximately 32 hours per week
This position is an ongoing managed outsource / long-term temporary position and the incumbent will be employed long-term through a local staffing agency.
