Area Operations Manager

Job Knowledge, Training and Experience: Fifteen (15) years of responsible experience in distribution and transmission facilities and journeyman lineman certification preferred. Experience should include all phases of construction, maintenance and system operation. Two-year management/supervisory experience desirable. Must possess knowledge if RUS Materials Specifications Construction, National Electrical Safety Code® and OSHA Regulation. Completion of all required courses to receive NRECA Supervisory Certificate and/or successful completion of the NRECA Operations Internship and/or ten years on-the-job training as Area Supervisor or equally responsible position in the electric industry. Must be or become certified in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
