South Central Power Company, Ohio’s largest electric cooperative, has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Coordinator at our Lancaster, Ohio location. This position will support and coordinate activities within the office of the Warehouse/Material Management Department to ensure efficient service to consumers and to provide clerical assistance to the warehouse. This position reports to the Procurement Manager.
What you’ll be doing
Collection and processing of daily materials
Assists the manager with the planning and organization of the job pull schedule
Serves as a liaison between the warehouse and purchasing department
Receives and organizes incoming packages for office personnel
Assists with coordinating the inventory process including organizing cycle counts, running reports, and analyzing stock levels
Assists with general organization and process improvement
What the job requires
An associate degree in business, procurement materials management or related field. Educational requirement may be substituted by an equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the necessary knowledge and skills (as approved by the Cooperative).
At least two years’ practical experience in general office work with a good knowledge of office procedures and equipment.
Excellent communication skills and holds a current driver’s license.
Well organized and detail oriented.
