This position is responsible for maintaining the detailed accounting records for all the Company’s Property, Plant and Equipment. Prepares monthly accounting entries to record depreciation expense for all active depreciable assets and fixed asset additions and retirements. Works with Budget Analysts/Project Managers to resolve any issues surrounding proper classification of project cost and to develop and continually update depreciation budgets and forecasts based on the most current capital forecasts. Reconciles the Company’s monthly general ledger fixed asset account balances to the Continuing Property Records.  The position will also prepare journal entries, prepare reports and summaries, analyze financial results, research accounting methods, as well as other duties as required.
