Job Purpose: Perform line construction and maintenance under the direction of a Journeyman rated Line Technician   Duties: Perform line construction, maintenance and restoration of energized and de-energized overhead and URD distribution lines and inspect completed work to ensure it is in accordance with applicable specifications and codes. Patrol the line and check for defective materials, equipment or unsafe conditions; notify foreman or supervisor of problems found. Perform the duties of ground man, equipment operator and lineman.
