Operational Communication Specialist (South Region)

The Electronics Maintenance (EM) Operational Communication Specialist coordinates, conducts, and provides oversight for scheduled and corrective maintenance. Also, provides commissioning services on the Fiber Optic infrastructure including fiber nodes, hand holes, and all splice points within the statewide network. Independently, provides coordination and performance of technical assistance and support to 38 Electric Membership Cooperatives for their operational communications in distribution SCADA/Load Management Systems, as well as coordinates and supervises contract staff (e.g. circuit providers, metering contractors, etc.) for routine maintenance and special projects.
