We are currently seeking applicants for an Accounts Payable Administrator in the Accounting & Finance division located in Springfield, MO. This position is responsible for handling the full cycle of accounts payable activities including organizing and keying invoices for payment, management of PO invoice approval workflows, filing in electronic libraries and preparing bi-weekly check runs and daily ACH payments. The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for examining records for accuracy and ensuring proper approval is attained as well as researching and resolving vendor-related inquiries and responding to vendor calls on a timely basis.
Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent with advanced business education preferred. Knowledge in the field of Accounting is required with at least two years of Accounts Payable experience preferred, with all levels considered. Successful candidates must display attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing and strong technical skills using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as demonstrate the ability to forge strong relationships and work within a team as a contributing member.
